Stefano Ceresoli, Chef-Owner of Caffe' Bella Italia, spent many years in the restaurant business in his native Milan, before moving to San Diego in 1996. Stefano's Northern Italian cuisine covers all the traditional Italian dishes and prepares many other inviting specialties with a personal touch. He has also introduced many Low Carb Entrees for those who watch their carbs diet. Chef Ceresoli's pastas are homemade and have a supple texture. He also prepares a variety of wood fire Pizzas, such as Quattro Stagioni or Bella Italia with imported Parma Prosciutto and arugola salad.  A nice variety of appetizers are served at Caffe Bella Italia, from the four kinds of Bruschetta to the exquisite Burrata, served as a special, with milky buffalo mozzarella topped with sauteed cherry tomatoes, spinach and garlic with sliced Parma prosciutto and grilled pear.  Main entrees range from hearty dishes such as Filetto al Barolo, filet mignon in a Barolo reduction to a fresh Halibut alla Checca, with cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, sauteed with garlic and white wine and one of the best of Caffe' Bella Italia's dishes, Linguine alla Pescatora, with fresh seafood. His wife Roberta helps Stefano managing the restaurant and taking care of the Banquets and Catering service. It is a Family Business and customers appreciate the passion and effort that owners put in what they do. Chef Stefano loves walking by tables and chatting with his guests. Often you see the all family eating at the restaurant, including their three children.
