Le Passage French Bistro offers patrons a truly unique dining experience. Centrally located on State Street in the heart of Carlsbad Village, our classic French Bistro is just two blocks from the Pacific Ocean. Locals and visitors alike are drawn to the ambiance and relaxed atmosphere of our indoor bistro and are delighted to discover the best outdoor patio dining in Carlsbad. The patio is shaded by the massive canopy provided by two large Banyan trees. At night, the trees light up the evening and provide just the right setting for nice conversation over a crisp glass of red wine. Patrons may view our French trained chefs prepare their fare by way of an exposed open kitchen that also serves as 'Le Passage' to the outdoor patio. Along with our fine offerings of French and California wines, our signature dishes include duck with cherry sauce, oven roasted rack of lamb, short ribs and our daily fish specials.
