Main Tap Tavern has enjoyed a nice year of growth and will celebrate it’s 1st Anniversary July 2nd, 2009! We’re extremely grateful for the love and support from all of our family, friends, and customers during this last year. A special thanks to our friends at Coronado Brewing Company, Lightning Brewery and Ballast Point Brewery for giving us so many amazing beers this year and providing us with excellent service! We anxiously look forward to more tasty brews in the future. Main Tap Tavern is now proudly serving beer from the world renown Alpine Beer Company and new San Diego microbrewery, Airdale Brewing Company!!

Main Tap Tavern features 24 taps & our main focus is to provide high quality craft beers from all over the world and San Diego's best craft brews. We also keep a regular selection of beers to satisfy a more conventional palate. All of our pints are served from brand new draft lines topped off with a unique collection of hand-made glass tap handles*. Main Tap Tavern also offers an array of choice wines and spirits and modest collection of bottled ales. We aim to have a tasty beverage on hand to satisfy anyone's tastes. If you're looking for some grub to accompany your Double IPA or Cabernet our revamped kitchen will be cooking up plenty of delicious meals. If you are pressed for time you can get your food to go. Don't forget about our $3 homemade tavern burger special with you choice of homemade potatoe salad or homemade fries. This is availible from 12p.m. to 3p.m. Monday through Friday.

We always have new specials and have great local bands playing original music booked so don't forget to checkout our Events page and Calendar. Our Happy Hour prices run Monday thru Friday 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Catch all the football games this year on our 42 inch TV's via DirecTV's High Definition Sunday Ticket Package. Join us at 10a.m. every Sunday during regular season football for kickoff, complimentary Hebrew Hot Dogs and Happy Hour pricing all day!

While we are not a sports bar, rest assured that every seat at our spacious granite topped bar has a great view of the home game playing on the two HD plasma TV's. Our beautiful outdoor patio also boosts two more HD plasma TV's, and the best spot to hang out with friends and a great place to make them. Pony up to one of our two brand new premium pool tables or regulation foosball table and don't forget to rock some tunes on the jukebox.
