In 1987 Porkyland opened their first location in Barrio Logan and it wasn't long after that they realized that they were on to something. They started off with a family recipe and the hunger to succeed. When they opened their doors it was almost an instant success and if you have tasted their food there is no question as to why... Fast forwarding about twenty four years later Porkyland has two convenient locations. They have one location in La Jolla and the other in the heart of Hillcrest on University Ave. Porkyland has a authentic and fresh menu that have aquired them many awards over the years, especially there famous carnitas. They have become very famous not only in the neighborhoods which their restaurants are located but all around San Diego as well. So the next time you are in the La Jolla or Hillcrest areas, stop in and give them a shot, you will be delighted! |
