Karl Stauss Brewing Company is located in the heart of La Jolla, on Wall St. just blocks away from the water. This brewery features a variety of wood-oven pizzas, creative burgers, steaks and uniquely flavored salads, and their brewery favorite comfort foods. From their Honey Lager Chicken salad to the Wednesday Meatloaf, you can't go wrong.
The local brewery invites you into a comfortable environment for the family, or you can opt to try their variety of beers at the bar. Karl Strauss is known for specializing in naming beers they brew locally, such as the Del Marzen, Padre Porter, or the Windansea Wheat Hefewezien. Karl Strauss has a cask night, every 1st Thursday of every month with $3.50 cask beers from 5pm- until it's gone, as they have coined. It's a perfect place to unwind after work to catch up with some friends, where you should try out their Windansea Wheat Hefeweizen.
